Privacy policy
Last updated 3 August 2026
Promptigo is a free library of AI prompts. You can browse the whole catalogue without an account. This page explains what we store when you do sign in, and what we never do with it.
The short version
We collect the minimum needed to keep your saved prompts and favourites attached to you. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not share your information with third parties for marketing.
What we collect
- Account details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. If you use an email sign-in link instead, we receive only your email address.
- Prompts you save. When you save or fork a prompt, we store its title, text, any notes, and the values you filled in.
- Favourites. Which catalogue prompts you have starred. If you favourite prompts while signed out, they are kept in your browser only, and merged into your account if you later sign in.
- Anonymous counters. How many times each catalogue prompt has been viewed or copied, in aggregate. These are not tied to you.
- Analytics. Google Analytics, but only if you accept it in the consent banner. Decline and no analytics cookies are set.
Prompts you share
Saved prompts are private to your account by default. If you turn on sharing, that single prompt becomes readable by anyone with the link — that is the point of the feature. Turning sharing off revokes the link immediately. Shared prompts are not listed in the public catalogue and are marked so search engines do not index them.
Cookies
- Essential. A session cookie that keeps you signed in. This one cannot be turned off without signing out.
- Analytics. Set only after you accept in the consent banner, and never before.
Where your data lives
Accounts and saved prompts are stored in Supabase, which runs on managed Postgres. The site itself is hosted on Vercel. Both may process data outside your country. Access is restricted at the database level so one account cannot read another's private prompts.
How long we keep it
Your prompts and favourites are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Anonymous counters are aggregate and are kept indefinitely, since they identify no one.
Your choices
- Delete any saved prompt from your library at any time.
- Revoke a share link by turning sharing off.
- Change your analytics choice by clearing your cookies for this site.
- Ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it, by email.
Children
Promptigo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page.
